GETINO-B is an antiviral prescription medicine used in the management of certain viral infections. It contains tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor that works by reducing the ability of certain viruses to multiply in the body. It is commonly used as part of combination antiretroviral therapy for the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV-1) infection and may also be used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B infection in adults.
